7th Prima Scena Family Theatre Cycle

Family and culture come together again with the 7th Prima Scena Family Theatre Season

This Wednesday, February 7th, the sale of tickets for a new edition of the family theatre cycle to be held during the month of March begins.

📍The auditorium of the Casa de la Cultura will host three plays for all audiences (recommended for ages 6 and up).

PRESENTATION OF THE HOLY WEEK POSTER

Next Friday, February 9th, the presentation of the poster for the Semana Santa de Coín 2024 will take place in the Casa de la Cultura, the work of the local resident and photographer Forner. The poster will depict the three brotherhoods and cofraternities of passion.

Coín Town Council is once again organising activities to promote work-life balance during White Week and Easter Week.
 
To register you must do so from the 1st of February both online (Sede electrónica) and by registering at the Town Hall.

TALK "SPORT AND DIVERSITY"

Talk on sport and diversity where the benefits of the natural environment to combat diseases will be presented.

It will take place at 8pm, with free entry until full capacity is reached.

The association Huellas Terapéuticas and the Club Deportivo Ultra Trail Sierra Blanca de Marbella will take part, based on the experience of Aray, who suffers from SanFilippo syndrome.

Storytelling - La Dama de las nieves

Don't miss the new storytelling (in Spanish) with Selva Zamorano from Pirueta Teatro in the children's room of the Coín Library.

Next Friday 26 January, at 5pm, an adventure of snow and fantasy awaits you with La Dama de las Nieves.

The activity is free and is aimed at children aged 6 to 8 years old.

All you have to do is register in advance at the library or by calling 951919151.

TRAFFIC INTERRUPTION IN BARTOLOMÉ ABELENDA STREET

Due to the start of the second phase of work on Bartolomé Abelenda street, in which the Coín Town Hall has earmarked more than 550,000€ for its complete remodelling, from Monday 15th January traffic will be restricted as follows:

- TRAFFIC CUT-OFF from the corner of Panadería Agüepan on Bartolomé Abelenda street.

CANÓNIGO ORDÓÑEZ TRAFFIC INTERRUPTION

Due to the start of work on Canónigo Ordóñez street for the renovation of water infrastructures, traffic will be cut off from Monday 15th January at Albaicín street (without affecting access to the El Parral car park) to La Feria street, so access to Plaza Alameda will have to be via alternative routes.

Albaicín street during the course of the works will remain OPEN EXCLUSIVELY for pedestrian use.

System of play: Swiss pairing system, according to the VEGACHESS programme, 7 rounds.

The tournament will start at 10.00 a.m. and will finish around 2.00 p.m., with the prize-giving ceremony 10 minutes after the end of the last game.

Pace of play: 10 minutes + 5 seconds increment per move.
