The Guadalhorce Food Market and Local Products Market of Coín is a project made a reality thanks to the Coín City Council and the Málaga Provincial Council, through the brand 'Sabor a Málaga'. The Association of Local Producers is in charge of its management and of celebrating the traditional market every Sunday that is attended by people from all over the province and the entire Andalusian community. The Market opened its doors for the first time in June 2015.

In addition, from the Department of Agriculture and Livestock, numerous activities and events are also held every year in order to promote the market or local production. An example of this is the Sabor a Málaga Market, which is held in Coín every year in October and others such as the Cheese Market, in which this exquisite product is promoted, which is also very present throughout the Guadalhorce Valley region.
