Waste and Cleaning

The Department of the Environment manages the collection of organic waste, recyclable fractions and construction and demolition waste. The service offered by the Coin Clean Point and street cleaning is also managed.
We are all responsible for the proper use of waste collection systems to maintain greater hygiene and cleanliness of our streets, so keep these questions in mind:

When can the garbage be deposited in the container?

From 8:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
*There is no waste collection service on Saturdays.
Furniture and belongings that, due to their size, cannot be moved in a private vehicle, can be left on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays after 9:00 p.m. for later collection by the Waste Collection Service in the vicinity of the islands. From containers.

Where should I deposit each type of waste?

Organic waste: green bins
Plastics and packaging: yellow container
Glass containers: green igloo
Paper and cardboard: blue container

– Masks and wipes must be deposited in the organic waste container.
– Only glass containers can be deposited in the green igloo, the rest of the glass items will be delivered in the green container.

– The yellow containers only collect plastic containers, cans and tetra briks.
– Batteries and batteries must be deposited in the Clean Point or in portable containers distributed in spaces and municipal buildings.
