Show off your book: programming around 23 April 2024
International Book Day is a commemoration celebrated every April 23rd worldwide, and in our city it is an important event in our plan to promote reading. On this occasion we are launching the new slogan PRESUME DE LIBRO, with which we want you to take to the streets, copy in hand, to enjoy every corner of our town around the magic of printed stories.
We have also organised the following activities:

For children from 6 to 8 years old.
The exhibition will open next Tuesday 16th April and can be visited until 26th April.
Opening hours: Monday to Friday from 17:30 to 20:00 h. (To visit the exhibition in the mornings or weekends contact Antonio 636 601 745).

Every May 1, the patron saint, the Virgin of Fuensanta, is transferred to her hermitage.
The entire town comes out to say goodbye to her and accompany her from her exit from the Church of San Juan Bautista to her hermitage. The image remains in the sanctuary next to the Pereila River from the afternoon of May 1 until the first Sunday in June, when the pilgrimage is celebrated in her honor.
Departure from the Church of San Juan at approximately 7.00 p.m.
